Day 8: It's OK to Quit
Stopping creates long term progress
What a wibble wobble.
Overwhelmed by everything I had to do, I literally sat on the floor with my head in my hands, completely at a loss…
Life/the universe has such a funny way of giving clarity when needed. 5 minutes later, as I procrastinated by ‘organising’ my email, my mouse landed and clicked on an email from Janis Olins newsletter
Yup. That was me. So following his advice, I hit:
⌘Cmd + Q.
I quit. Everything
You see, in the moments when there is too much, too many brain tabs open…just hit quit. Quit email. Quit every tab you said you’d read later. Quit trying too hard. Quit doing the things you think you should be doing. QUIT!
Stopping is often the best way of making progress in the long term.
Until tomorrow…
